Embark on an 10-day, self-guided moose hunting adventure along Alaska's Koyukuk river in Game Management Unit 24A.

Pricing

  • Residents: $4,500 per person
  • Non-Residents: $5,500 per person
  • Observer/Non-Hunting: $4,500 per person
  • Military & First Responder Discount: 20% off transport fees
  • We require a $2000 non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due July 1st of the year of your hunt. There is a 3.5% transaction fee charged by Square for Credit Card Processing that will be added to each payment.

Included Services

  • Day 1: Transportation of hunter and gear from Coldfoot, Alaska to the boat launch
  • Day 1: Airboat transport of hunter and gear to the drop camp location
  • Day 10: Airboat transport of hunter, gear and harvest(s) from the drop camp location to Coldfoot, Alaska
  • Shipping: We will transport your harvest from Coldfoot, Alaska to Fairbanks (we will meet you).
  • Storage: We will store hard hunting weapon cases, totes, and additional coolers at the boat launch
  • Shipping Receiving: We will pickup and store shipped goods from Alaska Air Cargo for you temporarily before your hunt.

Gear Limits

  • Personal Gear: 75 lbs
  • Camp Equipment: 105 lbs per groups
  • Coolers: 2 - 130qt cooler per group
  • Weapons, fishing equipment, and cooler are not included in gear weight.


Your Responsibilities

We're committed to making your hunt a success and the first step down that road is making sure you have all the information you need to succeed. Below is information necessary for planning a successful hunt.

Transportation

We're happy to transport you from Coldfoot to your drop camp, but you're responsible for getting to and from Coldfoot. You should arrive the day before and depart the day after your scheduled hunt to ensure there are no issues and that you have plenty of time to deal with your harvest.

Accommodations

We recommend you space at Coldfoot Camp in Coldfoot, Alaska for the night before and after your scheduled hunt.

You will need to arrive at least a day early (14th) in Coldfoot to ensure prompt departure. You will also need to depart from Fairbanks at least 2 days (27th) after your hunt to ensure delivery of you trophy and allow time for any sealing of additional game that may need to occur.


Camp Setup

We cannot and will not assist the setup of your drop camp.

We're currently working on a recommended list of drop camp gear and are looking into rental partners. Check back later this year for more information.


Gear

We cannot and will not rent you gear. We are happy to recommend places to rent and specific gear to you, however.

Licenses

We cannot and will not acquire a license for you.

These items must be acquired prior to your arrival in Coldfoot. Hunting Licenses, Harvest Tags, and Fishing Licences can all be purchased and printed from your computer via ADFG

Locking tags can either be picked up in Fairbanks or mailed (though mailing can take several weeks)

We require hunters to present the following items on the day of their scheduled hunt.

Food/Drink

We cannot and will not sell food or drink.


Harvest Processing/Taxidermy

We cannot and will not assist with the processing or packaging of your harvest.

We ship via Alaska Air Cargo so any taxidermists will need to be able to pick up from there.
